    Harshita Yalamarty is a PhD candidate in the Gender, Feminist and Women’s Studies Program at York University. Her dissertation examines the experiences of Indian marriage migrant women in Canada in relation to migration policies, expectations of household and care labour, and caste in the diaspora.
